The ceremony site at Amanda's, our favorite pastry chef, wedding.
Time flies when you’re having fun, they say and we at the Cuvier Club are coming up on our 1 year anniversary since change of management from the St. James Church to the now outstanding, San Diego premiere wedding and event venue. So much has been accomplished over the past year and we have much to be thankful for and proud of, and we wish to share some of the great events which have lead to our becoming what we are today.
Over the past year, we have refinished the parking lot and have converted it into a marvelous ceremony site where we have seen several dozen couples joined in union – including our favorite pastry chef, Amanda, our roof has been replaced and our ballroom floor has been refinished – a couple times, we have installed a fantastic lighting system that would wow any onlooker and done dozens of small tasks to upkeep things, even installing an ice machine.
This building has been a part of the La Jolla community for decades. The Cuvier Club is just a name change, we plan to always be a part of this wonderful community. We were able to experience the feeling of the community during the never to be forgotten, city wide, power outage. When we donated candles to the small bed and breakfast – just to the west of us, whose guests didn’t wish to be left in the dark. We are always willing to help and have made many friends and new clients through the various ventures we have taken. If its been a while since you’ve visited, come on in and say hello and take a look around. You’ll enjoy it just as much as we.
